Capitola Art Festival Features Santa Cruz Wineries
Santa Cruz wineries provided fine sipping at the Capitola Art & Wine Festival the weekend of September 10-11, 2011. This is one of the finer art festivals in Northern California. Capitola is in one of the best artist communities in the Monterey Bay, with elegant Mediterranean style homes perched on the hillside and restaurants and cafes by the waterfront. About 160 artists and 20 Santa Cruz Mountain wineries were on vivid display. Truly a feast for the senses.
Among the artists who caught my eye: Karen Nevis, painting , Kavita Singh Fiber arts/Textiles, Tony Pagliaro photography, Delia Bradford painting, Evelyn Drew painting, Lynn Holman Glass, Lynn Jaye, painting, Vince & Kerry Williams of Williams Glassworks in Santa Cruz, California.
